授課專(zhuan) 家信息: Leluo Guan教授，加拿大阿爾伯塔大學農(nong) 業(ye) 、生命與(yu) 環境學院副院長，主要研究方向為(wei) 功能基因組學&微生物學。Leluo Guan教授在相關(guan) 領域發表文章200多篇，現任 Canadian Journal of Animal Science（from January 2014）、Genome（since January 2018）和Microbiome（since July 2017）副主編及Journal of Agriculture, Food and Analytical Bacteriology（from July 2010）、PLoS One（from July 2013）等雜誌的編委。

課程大綱及課程簡介：本課程介紹微生物與(yu) 動物之間的宿主-微生物互作，以及這些相互作用如何整合到動物的生產(chan) 和改善動物的健康。本課程不僅(jin) 將介紹家畜疾病的微生物致病機理，還將介紹微生物對宿主重要的有益作用，同時還將整合一些已經應用於(yu) 上述課題研究領域的先進分子技術。

2. Microbes and Animal Production

3. Antibiotic resistance, from Microbial point of view

4. Microbial endocrinology

This course introduces the host-microbial interactions between microbes and animals and how these interactions integrate to animal’s production and improvement of animal health. This course will not only cover the microbial pathogenesis caused disease in livestock animals but will also cover their important beneficial contributions to the host. This course will also integrate some modern and advanced molecular technologies that have been applied to the research fields of above topics.
